The Spanish Lidar Network is currently funded by:

The Complementary Action of the Topic Area of Management: Atmosphere, Climate and Climate Change, modality B “Intercomparison of advanced Spanish lidars (laser radars) – 3A”, ref. CGL2008-01330-E/CLI (1/7/2009 - 31/12/2010).

It has been formerly funded by:

1. The Complementary Action of the National Biodiversity, Earth Sciences and Global Change Programme, modality B “Intercomparison of advanced Spanish lidars (laser radars) – 2A”, ref. CGL2007-28871-E/CLI (1/12008 - 30/6/2009).
2. The Complementary Action of the National Biodiversity, Earth Sciences and Global Change Programme, modality B “Intercomparison of advanced Spanish lidars (laser radars)”, ref. CGL2006-26149-E/CLI (1/1/2007 - 30/6/2008).

Some of the goals of the first year (2007) obtained subsidies from the Special Action of the National Natural Resources Programme for the creation of a thematic network, ”Determination of Aerosols by Measurements Obtained in Column (Lidar and Extinction) and on Surface (DAMOCLES)”, ref. CGL2006-27108-E/CLI.
